PROJECT STATISTICSClient: SDA. www.sdavrg.comArea: 40,000 square feet Time to Completion: 9 months Highlights: This facility was built for a private developer to lease to the Federal Government for use as a joint Bureau of Land Management/US Forest Service district headquarters. Leading the team using the Construction Management (CM) approach, Ausland Group successfully responded to strict government design standards and completed physical construction in just nine months. The building included open and private office space, high security IT infrastructure, secure evidence storage, locker rooms, conference rooms, secure store yard, and fire fighting equipment accommodations. One of the more interesting portions of the project entailed installing a highly specialized, card-reader security system that is monitored off-site at a centralized government monitoring facility. |
