PROJECT STATISTICSClient: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley Headquarters www.bgcrv.comArea: 34,000 square feet Time to Completion: 9 months Highlights: As Construction Manager and General Contractor (CM/GC), we worked with a 45-member board and multiple committees to see this greatly community supported endeavor to a successful completion, well ahead of schedule. In doing so, over $250,000 of in-kind donations were incorporated by our staff into the project. The community wanted to preserve parts of the existing structure for historical and sentimental reasons. As a result, the project incorporated four, distinctly different building types together in one 34,000 square foot superstructure. The new, state-of-the-art facility sees 300 children a day and a full commercial kitchen serves an average of 250 meals a day during the school year and 500 a day in the summer. The facility includes an NBA competition size gymnasium; small children’s gymnasium; conference room; secured members entrance; computer room; administrative staff offices; classrooms; teen center; audio/visual room; arts and crafts room; climbing wall; playfield, and arcade. |
